Kids Feeding Kids

Thanks to Sara Abbott from Valley Creek Elementary in McKinney for stopping by the show today to tell us about the Cougars CARE program. Valley Creek wants to empower children to help others. This year the students in K-5th grade are buying food for the Food Pantry. There are ways that you in the community can help also. The Food Pantry has a need for powdered milk, peanut butter and oatmeal. You can drop off a check at the Food Pantry. (Put Cougars CARE on the check) Or you can go to Tom Thumb, look for the Cougars CARE sign, buy the food and drop it off at Valley Creek Elementary. For more information contact Sara.
