Johnny is a little sad today after his West Virginia team lost Saturday and now will not play for the National Championship.
Congrats to McKinney Boyd for making it as far as they did in the playoffs. They lost Friday night but, finish the season at a very impressive 9-4. Celina and Farmersville are both still in the race for the championship. Good luck to them!
I am totally hooked on a video game. I played Guitar Hero for the first time and now I can't stop thinking about playing again. Have you played yet? Is there a help group for addicts?
This morning we also talked about my Christmas Shopping problem. I can't do any more shopping because I end up buying "gifts" for myself instead of others on my list. I did it again over the weekend. I bought jeans and a new sweater instead of the items on my list.
This is the time of the year that alot of kids get "sick" and miss school. Here are some tips to see if your kids is faking it.
1. Check out the Medical Evidence. Take their temperature first. Look for dry cough, body aches, fever, runny nose, fatigue etc...
2. Look for Telltale Faking Signs. Kids who are truly sick usually fall asleep. If your child is watching hours of t.v. he/she might be faking.
3. Get the bottom of the problem. Some kids just want to stay home, others may have serious underlying problem.
4. Do they have a big test that day?
5. Is their name Johnny B.
The Swami Mommy is picking the Ravens to win tonight's Monday Night Football game. Even though the Patriots are undefeated and the better team. But, she has to go with her home team. We will see. I actually need Tom Brady to have a really good game so I can win my Fantasy Football game.
Have a great day.
